ISAAC DELONG was b 2 or 3 May 1791 in Allen, N. J. d 3 Aug 1864 in Greenwood, Crawford, Pa. buried at Pricetown md 6 Nov 1817 in Trumbull Co., Ohio Elizabeth (Betsy) Delong b 11 Dec 1796 d 19 Mar 1883 buried in Pricetown Cemetery. They settled in Crawford Co., Pa. where Isaac's will is found. (Does this mean the Pricetown marker is only a memorial? per JB). He left the farm to wife Elizabeth and son David, the other children receiving $10.00 each. The first eleven child[ren] are taken from the will. IW. has the 13th child named Daniel and there is not a

child named David. JB. says that the will named David.

This paragraph is by JB. Elizabeth was traditionally the dau of Aaron Delong who was a brother of Isaac's mother, Ellener. However, dates are hard to reconcile. The 1850 and 1860 census indicates birthdates of 1782 or 1786 for Aaron while the alleged dau was b 1796. Perhaps she was younger than this. Aaron's other children do not seem to have been born earlier than about 1805.

JAMES was b 1799 in Pa. d 15 or 17 Jan 1837 age 37, Eckis Cemetery. He md 11 Nov 1821 Rachel Frankfurther, probably b in Germany, d in Townville, Crawford Co. in 1880. Rachel md (2) Jesse DeLong b 1788 d 1856, younger brother of her mother-in-law, Catherine DeLong, wife of Jacob (1-5-1-3-11) (and also brother of Eleanor DeLong, wife of uncle-in-law Isaac (1-5-1-3-5). Jesse had earlier been married to Mary (Polly) Winans (1-5-1-3-7-4).

She was b in Ohio of Va. parents. He is probably the Jacob, under 30 in 1840 living next door to James Delong, son of his mother's brother, Jesse Delong. Wallace Winans b ca 1873 age 7 in 1880, grandson living with Jacob.

BOYD was b ca 1818 md Sarah   ?  . Boyd was 32 in the 1850 census and so was Sarah 32 in the 1850 census. Jacob had a son who gave this name to a son and there seems no place for him among the well-chronicled families of Jacob's brothers, Isaac and James. Note by JB.

(Mrs. Edna Hull of Kirksville, Mo. has a photostat copy of marriage bond). Marriage Bond given in Clarksburg, Harrison Co., W. Va. Ezekiel md (2) Margaret Nelson b ca 1812 (age 58 in 1870 census of Wood Co., W. Va). He was a soldier in the war of 1812 and was also a farmer. Census of Wood Co., W. Va. lists him in 1850 as age 62 but the 1870 census lists him as 87.
